view from my porch
I think the picture says it all. I could stay happily locked in this frosty white cocoon forever ...

"This book still whispers to me. It follows me and lingers like a fragrance ... a sweet, holy haunting." --Nancy Anderson
"I read A Whisper in Winter like I eat a bag of little Dove chocolates--slowly, savoring each bite. Each year, I read dozens of books, but it is rare that a book captures my heart in the way that this book did." --L. J. Seaborg
"I knew by the title and the forward that this was going to be a good book to read. What I didn't know is that it would open my mind and my heart and cause me to be more aware of God in my life ... He's been beside me whispering all along." --Nancy Henry

Oh my! Absolutely stunning!
Hi Ginger! It's hard to go wrong with a view like that ... even on a cell phone camera. :)
I think we're Facebook friends. If that's the case, I've uploaded a bunch more pictures from our snowy day.
Hope you're doing well! Have a wonderful Christmas. :)
Shannon, it is beautiful. Very similar to ours! It is however keeping Todd and I away from church! We miss everyone so much. Love, Debbie
Wow! Looks just like a Christmas card. Merry Christmas, Shannon!
Wow... we don't see the beauty of the snow much here in Arizona.
Happy New Year to you. May the Lord bless you in special ways in 2009.
Absolutely beautiful! Recently, it's been like that here, at Thistle Cove Farm...except I get a closer look at the beauty when I go to feed my sheep and horses. -smile-
With enough wool and layers, I keep warm and God has, graciously, given me the strength to do the work He has set before me.
God's blessings on you, yours and the work of your hands and heart.
Hi Shannon, my apologies for sending another note but I'm a fair computer ejit and couldn't find your e-address either on your note to me nor on your blog...?
many thanks for visiting Thistle Cove Farm blog; please know you're welcome to come sleep in the 'big house' any ole time -grin-. Last night, I found out we've a mother mountain lion, probably what you're calling a cougar, ranging in our valley. She's supposed to be around 120 to 130 pounds, fairly large to my way of thinking.
I'm a fair computer ejit so it could have been there and I didn't see it...I wanted to "follow" your blog but couldn't find the info. Did I just overlook it somehow?
